MediaCom USA walked away from the Internationalist Awards for Innovation in Media with three awards last week.
The “Power of Sport” campaign for Shell was a top winner at the ceremony with a Gold win.
As part of the impactful campaign, Shell and MediaCom created a one-of-a-kind soccer pitch in a Rio de Janeiro favela that was powered by the kinetic energy created by players’ movement.
MediaCom was also recognized for two other campaigns, picking up Silver awards for Revlon’s “Love Is On” and Volkswagen’s “Ready, Set, Gooolf!”
The Internationalist Awards for Innovation in Media honors the most inspiring campaigns from around the world, based on insights, strategy and results.
Submissions came from 37 global markets, with winners representing the top 15 percent of entries.
Winners were announced in New York City on March 26, 2015.
