The most coveted prize in Australia's media market -- AdNews' Media Agency of the Year -- was awarded to MediaCom Melbourne at the gala ceremony on February 21, 2008.
MediaCom not only had the "numbers" that impressed the jury -- 98% client retention, 96% staff retention, 27% revenue growth -- but overwhelmed the jury with MediaCom's "thinking outside the square."
The jury noted: "Here's proof that a large multinational media agency can deliver work that the small creative shops seem to think is a domain they own."
