MediaCom Germany scores twice at German Media Awards 03/13

Wins first prize for Media Youngsters, and second for Media Strategy

MediaCom Germany walked away from the biggest award night in Germany -- the Deutsche Mediapreis -- with not but one, but two top prizes. 

MediaCom won the top honors for its Media Youngsers team, comprised of Tanja Punnanchira and Arvid Boström.  Their work, to introduce a new cell phone to early adopters, won praise from the jury for its selective targeting and innovative media usage.

MediaCom also won the 2nd prize in the category Media Strategy for its Volkswagen campaign staring the comedic character Horst Schlammer.  The campaign used viral and blogs extensively, attracting over 8 million video views in the first month of the campaign alone.  The campaign achieved a very high PR and media presence, which the jury valued as the "dream of every client."
